If you would have asked me a couple years ago what my goals, dreams, passions were - I wouldn't have been able to tell you. Every piece of my being was slowly starting to fade into a dark, grey fog and everything about who I was as a person was being pushed deeper and deeper inside of me. To quote the literary queen herself: "Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life." This carried me through the darkest, scariest times in my life but in my soul, I knew I was not going to allow what I was going through to define me.

 

Hand lettering and calligraphy became my therapeutic outlet and provided me the ability to express myself and what I was feeling, without having to speak. So I challenged myself to set goals to accomplish through the remainder of the year and learning to do calligraphy was at the top of the list. I taught myself and practiced day in and day out. Boy did I practice!

 

In February of 2018, I took the leap of faith and opened SheLettering. SheLettering is my soul on display for all of you to experience. Every project, every piece that I do, I do from my heart. I want to ensure that everyone who owns a piece from me, knows they will always have a special place in my heart because I've given them a little piece of mine.
